Cottages

Fully self-contained

Anvil and Horseshoe cottages are the former stables of the village forge, and have been converted into comfortable self-catering accommodation for two people.

Each cottage has a well equipped kitchen including electric cooker, washer-dryer, microwave, coffee machine and slow cooker. The ground floor consists of a lounge/dining area with TV and the bathroom with toilet, bath and shower over. The double bed is on the mezzanine floor up a short flight of stairs. Outside the cottages there is a patio with table and chairs to eat out in the warmer weather.

One and a half miles away

Thornton-Le-Dale has a small

convenience store, a butcher, a baker and a general store with a Post Office. There are also two pubs which serve food and several cafes. There is a Co-Op in Pickering four miles away and bigger supermarkets towards Scarborough.
